MONGOLIA TO BE FEATURED AT NORD-ART INT’L EXHIBITION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Some 100 artworks of 34 Mongolian artists will be displayed in halls of Carlshutte until October 4. It will happen in frames of the 17th Nord-Art international art exhibition that will open this June 6 in Budelsdorf of Germany. The opening will also be attended by the Minister of Education, Culture and Sciences L.Gantomor and other officials. The opening remarks will be given by Hans-Julius Ahlmann, ACO Group Chairman, and Ts.Bolor, the Ambassador of Mongolia in Berlin, also by Chen Ping, a Culture Counselor of China in Berlin, Klaus Schlie, a president of the Schleswig-Holstein parliament, and Jürgen Hein, a Mayor of the city of Büdelsdorf. The Mongolian folklore music band "Hosoo&Transmongolia" will perform as well. This year, Mongolia has been chosen as the "Country in Focus". A total of 250 artists from 50 countries have been selected from the registered 2,932 artists from 99 countries. The Nord-Art exhibition is considered to be one of the most prestigious fine-art exhibitions in the world, some 70 thousand people viewed the last year's exhibition.
