MONGOLIAN TOURISM PROMOTED IN AUSTRALIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A tourism promotional event under a name of “Introducing Mongolia” was held at the Embassy of Mongolia in Canberra on June 10. During the event, short video about Mongolia was shown to the guests, and Mr B.Gansuh, director of the Mongolian Experience Travel co and Mr Michael Tonkin, director of Sales and Marketing of the Russian Travel Centre briefly presented briefly on their tour products. Ambassador of Mongolia to Australia Mr Bold noted that Mongolia is a unique destination for foreign tourists especially for the Australians. Guests enjoyed Mongolian traditional meal ‘buuz’ (dumpling). Organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Australia in cooperation with the Russian Travel Centre, a Sydney-based Australian tour company, the event was attended by 32 travel agents representing Flight Centre, Harvey World Travel, Weston Cruise, Maria Slate, Capital Travel, Cruiseabout, Jetset Southlands, Students Flights, Escape Travel, Reis and James Travel Associates and Active Travel.
