KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail hopes the locating, recovery and rebuilding efforts of Myanmar Monsoon flooding and landslides, to proceed swiftly. “I am deeply saddened by the devastation caused by heavy monsoon rains in Myanmar which has caused the loss of lives and the displacement of more than 100,000 people. “My prayers are with the families of the deceased and all those affected, “ she tweeted, Tuesday night. It was reported at least 25 people are dead and nearly 120,000 people have been forced to flee their homes in Myanmar after torrential monsoon rains flooded villages in eight states, triggering landslides.
