Qatar's Public Parks Department Holds Event to Introduce 'Farm Your Country' Program

Doha, October 25 (QNA) - The Ministry of Municipality and Environment's Public Parks Department in collaboration with Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation (ALF) held a event to introduce 'Farm Your Country' program. The fourth edition of the program was attended by a number of coordinators and supervisors of participating schools to introduce them to the 'Farm Your Country' program and the mechanism and plan of the program during the year. In its fourth season this year, 34 schools of various stages are participating along the participation of a number of students with special needs for the first time. Their participation is part of efforts to integrate this important segment of students in such community programs. It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Public Parks Department organizes this event within the one million trees project as part of its keenness on the important role of agricultural projects in environmental sustainability and development.
