Recycling Efforts Will Help Govt Expenditure - M'sian PM's Wife

SEREMBAN (Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia), April 6 (Bernama) -- Moulding a society that is concerned about the environment especially the practice of recycling is very important as it can help reduce government expenditure, said the prime minister's wife Rosmah Mansor (front, right). She said recycling would help reduce expenditure for landfills and combat environmental pollution which would result in a cleaner and healthier living environment. "At the same time, the culture of always trying to maintain a green environment by planting trees especially in open areas is something that needs to be promoted widely among Malaysians," she said when opening a Negeri Sembilan Girl Guides programme here Thursday.
