Strong Earthquake In Samar, Philippines

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 (Bernama) -- An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale struck Samar, Philippines at 8.03 am Tuesday. According to a statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the quake occurred at 51 kilometres west of Calbayog City, Philippines, with a depth of 10 kilometres.
