Strong Winds And Choppy Sea Expected Till Thursday

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31 (Bernama) -- Strong North-Easterly winds with speeds of 50-60 km per hour and choppy seas with waves of up to 4.5 metres high are expected to occur in waters north of Condore, north of Reef North and north of Palawan until Thursday, Jan 3. A statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department Sunday night said the strong wind and choppy sea conditions were dangerous for all beach and shipping activities including catching fish and ferry services. Meanwhile, strong North-Easterly winds with speeds of 40-50 km per hour and waves of up to 3.5 metres high were expected to occur in the waters of south-east Samui, Tioman, south Condore, Bunguran, southern Reef North, Layang-Layang, Reef South, southern Palawan and Labuan until Thursday.
