12th anniversary of “Kazakhstan 2030” strategy

Astana, October 10, 2009 (Khabar) - Prospects of the development of Kazakhstan in the new decade within the frameworks of the “Kazakhstan 2030” strategy have been discussed in Astana at the international workshop conference.
Lead politicians and social figures from the CIS and international experts were talking about issues, which Kazakhstan should solve in the near future. The main issues are considered to be the competitive recovery and national welfare. Additionally, the country needs to tackle such issues as the overcoming of the global crisis, further development and strengthening of the economy after the crisis. The governmental strategy of the development of the country and a five year program of boosting of the industrial development will assist a lot.

Yerlan Karin, secretary of "Nur Otan":
– During this period when many countries basically became isolated on forecasts and planning on short-term or on intermediate term prospect, Kazakhstan has started to approve approaches on long-term planning. And the fact of acceptance of Strategy promoted that Kazakhstan became the country focused on the future.

For the last decade the effective system of a state administration was built in the country, many social problems have been solved, there was a jump in all economic spheres. As a result Kazakhstan went to leaders of the post-Soviet territory. The economic model of the state has proved the efficiency and stability in the conditions of world financial crisis.

Karim Massimov, Prime Minister of RK:
- During the first years of the forthcoming decade, we are to focus on measures, which will result in gaining immediate effect and dispense large investments in its implementation. The development of these measures is almost finished. Together with this, we are to start the implementation of long-term measures, which will require mobilization of state’s resources and which effect will become an essential condition of people’s wellbeing.

The national leader, the strong state and competitive economy – this is the formula of successful post crisis development and country progress that was represented by experts. Its solution means deducing Kazakhstan in 2030 to number of the most developed countries of the world. Participants are assured that the problems put by Nursultan Nazarbayev are quite realizable.
