DISASTERS AND ACCIDENTS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first two months of this year, 23 people died due to 939 disasters and accidents. Three thous. 11 heads of livestock were lost due to hoof-and-mouth disease and 186--by rabies. There were 887 fires on construction and 29 cases of rabies. A total sum spent for consequences of all disasters and accidents stood at 235.9 million togrog. The numbers of the disaster and accidents decreased by 276 cases against the previous year.
