‘UNAOC Baku Forum is another evidence of Azerbaijan`s growing international prestige’

Baku, April 26, AZERTAC “Baku Forum is another evidence of increasing prestige of Azerbaijan in world. The 7th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations is a fruitful platform for delivering realities of Azerbaijan to the world,” said foreign affairs expert, Contributor to Eurasia Review Journal Peter Tase as he met with Director General of Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) Aslan Aslanov. “There is no doubt that President Ilham Aliyev has done great work to increase the image of Azerbaijan in the world. The economic growth, social welfare, international trade, freedom of speech, all democratic values of the open government, transparency and globalizing Azerbaijani market domestically and internationally make Azerbaijan a special place in the world,” he said. Mr Tase also said he would continue to promote AZERTAC`s “wonderful” work and spread realities about Azerbaijan around the world. He handed his recently published book titled “Ancient Monuments and Treasures of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan” to AZERTAC`s Director General. Mr. Aslanov said Azerbaijan and US enjoyed good cooperation in a variety of fields. "National leader Heydar Aliyev`s wise policy played a crucial role in ensuring Azerbaijan`s achievements on an international level.” “President Ilham Aliyev`s historical visit to the USA and his attending the 4th Nuclear Security Summit was of vital importance in terms of the expansion of the bilateral cooperation. Ties between our countries are developing and strengthening in all areas. The visit and meetings held during the trip elevated the bilateral relations, which are based on strategic cooperation, to a new level." Mr Aslanov hailed the importance of the 7th Global Forum of UNAOC, saying it brings together heads of state, government officials and scientists from more than 140 countries.
