“UB will cooperate with “Areva Mongol” in culture, art and humanitarian spheres”

In response, Bat-Uul appreciated this company's launching a project that is supposed to create some six thous. jobs. "People’s livelihood has been difficult due to unemployment rate rise caused by slackening of the mining investments in the last two years". He fully supports the company’s works, he said. He is also thankful for the company’s willingness to collaborate in the city’s great construction and activities, and said he wants to cooperate in two issues. “Cases of severe illnesses have increased among children of low-income families, so we plan to establish a charity foundation called ‘Kindness’ to help these children. In addition, we want to attract tourists by expanding winter festivals and organize a race of camels on ice of the Tuul River,” he said. Mr Plaisant said his company can cooperate with Ulaanbaatar in these matters, emphasizing that the company pays great attention to social responsibility actions. The “Areva Mongol” LLC started its activities here in 1996, it runs its business in geology, exploration and mining.
