12 Yachts Participating In sail Raja Ampat Stiil In Wakatobi

Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Aug19 (Antara) - Some 12 yachts participating in Sail Raja Ampat 2014 are still in Wakatobi, noted La Ode Ifi, Wakatobi district administration spokesman. "The yachts arrived in Wakatobi on August 14, 2014, en route to Raja Ampat, but captivated by its natural and underwater beauty, the yachters felt reluctant to leave for Raja Ampat," La Ode stated over his cell phone from the Wakatobi district town of Wangi-wangi on Tuesday. He remarked that the international yachters are still enjoying the tourist attractions in Wakatobi and will probably set sail for Raja Ampat on Wednesday. "They plan to leave Wakatobi for Raja Ampat on Wednesday to enliven the international marine event of Sail Raja Ampat 2014," he noted. La Ode pointed out that during their stopover in Wakatobi, the yachters visited numerous tourist spots such as the Liya Togo Fort and Sombu beach, and they also went diving in the waters of Hoga, Kaledupa, and Karang Kapota islands.
