15th Gulf Disability Society Forum Starts

Doha, March 31 (QNA) - Activities of the 15th Gulf Disability Society Forum started here Monday under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani. A number of Their Excellences Sheikhs and Ministers attended the opening ceremony in addition to members of Gulf Disability Society (GDS) and participating delegations. On the sidelines of the forum, GDS founder and honorary president Sheikh Daij bin Khalifa Al Khalifa awarded honorary membership of the Society to HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr Abdullah bin Saleh Al Khulaifi and Chairman of Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs HE Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al-Thani. HE the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr Abdullah bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, opened the exhibition associated with the Forum, which includes a variety of art works done by people with disabilities from various GCC countries.
