1MDB Audit Report Declassified

KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 (Bernama) – The audit report on 1MDB has been declassified, said Auditor-General Dr Madinah Mohamad (left). In a statement here Tuesday, Madinah said the 1MDB Audit Report had been classified “Secret” on Jan 22, 2016 and tabled to the Public Accounts Committee on March 4, 2016. “I am announcing that the 1MDB Audit Report has been declassified and the Executive Summary on it can be obtained at the National Audit Department website at www.audit.gov.my,” she said. Prior to this, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had been reported as saying that he would order that the 1MDB report ,which had been classified under the Official Secrets Act, be declassified.
