1st AMF Executive Board Meeting kicks off in Bangkok

BANGKOK, February 2 (TNA) - Bangkok City Authority has officially kicked off the 1st Asian Mayors Forum (AMF) Executive Board Meeting in both the Thai capital and seaside Prachuap Kiri Khan Province. Proudly hosted by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), the two-day AMF Executive Board Meeting, from February 1-2, is aimed at strengthening relations among Asian countries and providing a platform for the participating countries to exchange their views and experiences in urban management, while city leaders have a good opportunity to develop their cooperative network for the utmost interest of Asian people. In addition, the regional gathering will subsequently enhances Bangkok's reputations and Bangkokians' prestigious hospitality internationally. The 1st AMF Executive Board Meeting will also stimulate joint investment projects in economic, social, science and technological fields among Asian cities for the sake of sustainable development in the region. All participants, on their second-day meeting, will travel to Prachuap Kiri Khan to visit royal-initiated projects and to attend a farewell dinner hosted by Bangkok Governor M.R.
