1st VP Expresses Condolences to Quake-stricken People Of Bushehr

Rasht, Gilan province, April 10, IRNA – First Vice- President Mohammad Reza Rahimi on Tuesday evening offered his condolences to quake-stricken people of Bushehr. At the Rasht Airport, Rahimi told reporters that since the early hours of the quake, government asked governor general of the province to use all provincial possibilities to help the quake-stricken people. He added that the working group will depart for Bushehr on Wednesday to consider situation and evaluate the damage. A tremor measuring 6.1 on Richter scale jolted Kaki in southern province of Bushehr on Tuesday afternoon, which left 37 dead and 850 injured. So far, five rapid action force groups of Iranˈs Red Crescent Society have been dispatched to the quake-stricken areas in Bushehr province./end
