40 Creative Artistes From 11 Countries To Attend Marketplace Of Creative Arts In Bandung

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (BERNAMA) -- The two-day 4th Marketplace of Creative arts at Cihampelas Walk (CiWalk) in Bandung, Indonesia from April 14 will be attended by 40 creative artistes from 11 countries, including Japan and India. The Marketplace of Creative Arts created under the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) Young Leaders Network (WYN) as a platform for young artistes to showcase their talents, build networks and explore business potential, is expected to receive 5,000 visitors this year, said executive director and head of WIEF/WYN Fazil Irwan Som in a statement Thursday. He said the 4th Marketplace of Creative Arts, co-organised by WIEF and Bandung Creative City Forum, was open to the public and offers a wide range of exciting and interactive activities such as busking, shot films and documentaries screenings, public graffiti and fusion showdown. "Marketplace artistes from various culture perform an uniquely collaborated performance on stage and can learn from the best in the creative industry through "masterclass" sessions on music, performing arts and photography," he said. He added that there would be a "creative convoy", a parade on the streets of Bandung, followed by a variety of creative expressions during the journey.
