4th GCC-Jordanian and Moroccan Joint Ministerial Meeting Kicks Off

Doha, November 25 (QNA) - GCC Foreign Ministers held here today their 4th joint ministerial meeting along with the Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs and Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation . At the beginning of the meeting, HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah welcomed participants in Qatar, praising their sincere and estimated efforts to the Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah. Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah,President of the GCC Council at its previous session, which had a deep impact in promoting the joint action process among the GCC countries. On behalf of the GCC foreign ministers, Al Attiyah expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh and Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Salaheddine Mezouar for their participation in the meeting. Al-Attiyah expressed his sincere condolences to the Kingdom of Morocco over victims of the floods that swept the province of Guelmim and other areas in the Kingdom, praying to the Almighty to grant patience to their parents and families and save Morocco any evil or harm. He stressed that the aspirations of the GCC people, Jordan and Morocco is to achieve a prosperous future in all walks of life, stressing that the partnerships, cooperation and integration between these countries can achieve these aspirations and maintain them. HE Foreign Minister noted that the positive results that have been achieved in the previous meetings had come due to the efforts made in the framework of strengthening the joint work process which makes everyone to push ahead the joint work process between the GCC, Jordan and Morocco in order to achieve hopes and aspirations of GCC countries and peoples. He expressed thanks and appreciation to the joint action teams for their estimated efforts that led to reaching these positive results in political, economic, security and cultural cooperation domains .(QNA)
