5th scientific prize of ‘Dr. Kardan’ to be awarded in Tehran Univ.

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA - The 5th scientific award of ‘Dr Kardan’ will be presented in a ceremony to be held in the University of Tehran on Dec. 5, 2014. The annual award is given to top theses written by Ph.D candidates of psycology and educational sciences with an aim to support innovative researchers made in the above-mentioned fields. Related defended theses, written in the past two years, can be submitted for the award. The participants should submit a copy of their thesis and an abstract (maximum two pages) to the award’s secretariat by 20th November. The works should be sent to the Psychology Institute of Dr. Kardan (University of Tehran), located in Jalal-e Al-e Ahamd highway. Just as the norm in previous years, an Iranian scientific figure will be honored as well during the awarding ceremony. (Late) Ali Mohammad Kardan, was a privileged professor who passed away some eight years ago. He was Jean Piaget's Iranian student who founded the Faculty of Psychology and Education in the University of Tehran./end
