6.5 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Southwest Tasikmalaya

Jakarta, June 14 (Antara) - An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale jolted southwest of Tasikmalaya, West Java on Thursday 11:47 pm local time. According to Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the epicenter of the earthquake was located on 10.35 degree of Southern Latitude and 107.04 degree of Eastern Longitude or 336km southwest of Tasikmalaya, West Java at the depth of 57km.
