70+ countries join Tehran Intl. Animation Fest.

TEHRAN, Dec. 10 (MNA) – 73 countries are participating in the 9th International Biennial Animation Festival in Tehran. So far, over one thousand animations from a large number of countries have been submitted to the secretariat of Tehran’s 9th International Biennial Animation Festival, considering that the deadline for submission of works has been set up on 16 December. The secretariat of the festival will begin judging and selecting the submitted works for screening on January 2015. Tehran’s Animation Festival, like its previous editions, will take place in 4 different categories: Iran and the international competition, non-competitive section, special screening, and Vision. Tehran’s 9th International Biennial Animation Festival will be held from January 8 to 12 at the Center for Cultural and Artistic Creations of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and the Young Adults in Hijab Street in Tehran.
