70 Iran Embassies, Cultural Offices Sponsor Teaching Persian Language

Qazvin, Aug 1, IRNA – Some 70 Iranian embassies, cultural offices are holding Persian language education courses across the world, said head of the Center for Promoting Persian Language and Literature affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of closing ceremony of the 78th Persian language update course at Imam Khomeini International University, Mohammad Reza Darbandi added that the learners are not studying Persian language by profession but they are willing to learn it. Meanwhile, Persian language is being taught in 30 foreign language education centers, he said. He said that the 79th Persian language refresher course will start within ten days, adding that that some 100 students of Iranian studies from different countries will take part in this round of the Persian language course./end
