The 8th Pharmaceutical Research Forum Reviews Students' Research Achievements

Doha, August 16 (QNA) - Qatar University held its eighth annual forum for pharmaceutical research, which was dedicated to presenting the achievements of 47 students of the College of Pharmacy at the undergraduate and master's and pharmacist programs, as well as the participation of professors and researchers from educational and medical institutions. The forum included five oral presentations and 27 posters of students of the College of Pharmacy, focusing on a number of titles. Commenting on the forum, Dean of the College of Pharmacy Dr Mohammad Diab said that this forum is an important opportunity to enhance students' knowledge, and give them an opportunity to integrate with the methods of scientific research and modern technologies, which motivates them to continue to work hard and meet the challenges. He added that the College looks forward to applying these research projects in a practical way to serve the needs of the community and in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. Chairman of the organizing committee of the forum Dr Daoud Al Badriyeh said that this forum is an annual opportunity to summarize the information gained by students in the various courses and research courses offered by the College of Pharmacy during the year. Student research is an essential component of college research outcomes, and it is important that scientific research skills formalize students' curiosity and provide an important long-term perspective on the issues they face on a daily basis, whether in an environment class studies or clinical exercises, he added. The eighth annual forum of the College of Pharmacy witnessed the distribution of five prizes for the best oral presentations and research posters among students participating in a number of topics included in the forum.
