9 couples get hitched at Hua Hin

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, April 25 (TNA) -- The Hua Hin train station and the Hua Hin district office jointly organised a mass marriage certificate signing ceremony for the first time at the train station, where nine couples had walked hand-in-hand to get hitched. The State Railway of Thailand (SRT)'s Hua Hin train station, together with the Hua Hin district office and Hua Hin Katoy Club have co-organised the "Hua Hin Train Station, the Memory of Love" activity, where couples are invited to sign their marriage certificates at the the train station located in Prachuap Khiri Khan province The event was held to mark Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand's celebrations of their 66th wedding anniversary. Their Majesties have been married since April 28, 1950. This is the first time such an activity has been organised, where a total of nine couples, from Hua Hin, other provinces and abroad have decided to participate in. The highlight of this year ceremony is an 82-year old couple from Hua Hin, both of whom have been married for many decades have decided to join in with the activity in remembrance of their youth. The couples then signed their marriage certificate with the Hua Hin district chief before taking pictures to remember the day around the train station, which has been beautifully decorated in celebrations for the couples. A couple from Songkhla province said they are so happy and impressed with all the settings and atmosphere organised at the train station and would cherish this piece of memory forever. (TNA)
