Abadi Discusses With Security Leaders Plans And Procedures To Control The Security Situation

BAGHDAD / NINA / Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi held a meeting today with the security leaders to discuss plans and procedures to control the security situation in the country and the liberation of the rest of the areas controlled by the Islamic State organization and eliminate it. A statement by the Information Office of the Prime Minister said that "the security leaders reviewed with Abadi the security conditions in the country and the movements of the armed forces to grab land and free it from the terrorist organization." Abadi resented his vision and strategy to control the security situation taking place in Iraq, noting that "the security challenge represents the most important challenges facing the country and we will seek through this new strategy and the cooperation of everyone to bring the security back to our country in spite of the many difficulties that we face." The Prime Minister urged the security forces to be keen to protect citizens and deal with them according to human rights, calling on citizens, at the same time, to cooperate with the security forces and help them to perform their duties and to maintain the security and the safety of the country./End
