Abadi Meets Amir Of Kuwait

BAGHDAD / NINA / Prime Minister Haider Abadi met today the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. During the meeting, the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples were discussed as well as the overall regional situation and terrorism. They also discussed cooperation between the two countries and the countries of the region and the international coalition against the terrorist organization. The prime minister Haider al-Abadi arrived in Kuwait on an official visit of one-day. Abadi is accompanied by a delegation, including Foreign Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Defense Khalid al-Obeidi, transport Baqir al-Zubaidi, Industry and Minerals, Naseer al-Issawi, Displacement and Migration, Jassim Mohammed and Human Rights Muhammad Mahdi al-Bayati. Abadi will hold talks with Kuwaiti officials on bilateral relations and ways to counter terrorism. / End
