About 1,000 company executives to take part in 1st Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok

MOSCOW, July 7. /TASS/. About 1,000 company executives are expected to gather at the first Eastern Economic Forum in Russia’s Far Eastern city of Vladivostok, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and presidential envoy in the Far Eastern federal district Yuri Trutnev said on Tuesday. "We will be satisfied if our first economic forum in Vladivostok is attended by 1,000 key participants - company executives," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel. "About a fourth of than number have already applied for participation over the first four days of application reception campaign." The first Eastern Economic Forum will be held at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok’s Russky Island on September 3 through 5. The agenda will include problems of the development of the energy and fishing sectors, the use of natural resources, agriculture, transport and logistics, production, urban development and financial problems. Earlier, Trutnev said the forum would be held annually. Read more
