About oil export and import

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Under production-sharing contracts, oil extractions are being done on 21 sites out of 30 selected around the country. Mongolia extracts 18,017 barrels or 2,411 tons oil a day, has exported 16,860 barrels or 2,257 tons oil so far. This year, Mongolia plans to extract and export 4,543,350 barrels or 608,325 tons oil. By July 17, the country extracted 2,491,096 barrels or 333,891 tons oil and exported 2,364,052 barrels or 316,845 tons. By July 23 of this year, petroleum companies had 100 thousand tons fuel at the national level sufficient for 42 days. Of them, A-80 auto--fuel is for 41 days, AI-92--for 58 days, diesel fuel--for 31 days, and TS-1--for 38 days. In addition to it, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has 12 thousand 700 tons of fuel for emergency situations such as uncontrolled price soar of oil products, shortfall and shortage of petroleum or disasters.
