ABOUT PRELIMINARY RESULT OF LIVESTOCK CENSUS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ According to a preliminary result of the livestock census for this year, number of livestock reached 36,005.8 thousand heads by end of 2011, reflecting an increase by 3276.3 thousand or 10.0 per cent against the previous year. The number of horse has reached 172.7 thousand, cow--139.1 thousand, camel--10.0 thousand, sheep--1028.7 thousand and goat--1925.8 thousand. B.Khuder
