Abu Dhabi Fund for Development donates Dh 200,000 to ERC

Abu Dhabi (WAM): The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has presented Dh 200,000 to the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) for needy people throughout the country. The donation cheque of the amount was received by Mohammed Yousef Al Fahim, Deputy Secretary-General of Support Services at the ERC, during a meeting at the headquarters of ERC's Authority in Abu Dhabi, and in the presence of Salem Al-Rashidi, Director of Support Services Department at the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. Al Rashidi stressed the enthusiastic assistance received from the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Fund, and all employees, in supporting humanitarian and relief activities carried out by the Red Crescent, in collaboration with philanthropists and benefactors in the U.A.E. and partners from official institutions and private bodies. For his part, Al Fahim praised the humanitarian initiative of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development for its continuous support for Authority’s projects, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the higher leadership and its staff, which reflects the importance of community cooperation and solidarity in supporting needy people.
