Active COVID-19 cases in Azerbaijan drop under 3,200

Baku, August 7, AZERTAC Azerbaijan’s total number of recoveries from coronavirus hit 29,696 on Friday, while the active cases dropped to 3,197, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC. The death toll from the pandemic rose to 483 as the country reported four more deaths, while 421 patients recovered over the past 24 hours. The country registered 129 new cases, bringing the tally to 33,376. As many as 6,872 tests were conducted in the country over the past 24 hours, raising the overall number of tests to over 773,051, the Task Force added.
