In Narathiwat Province in the Thai Far South, Governor Sitthichai Sakda invited people to donate their blood to a local hospital on Thursday, while people in nearby Yala Province joined hands in planting 70 trees around a public park in the Nakhon Yala Municipality and those in Phatthalung Province, led by Governor Wanchai Kongkasem, planted more than 2,000 trees and released seven million fish at a dyke in Khao Chaison District. People in Ratchaburi Province in the Central Region released a variety of 700,000 fish and shrimp into the Mae Klong River, while those in Ubon Ratchathani Province in the Thai Northeast jointly planted trees and cleaned local temples.
