Afghan President Meets Qatar's Foreign Minister

Kabul, September 04 (QNA) - President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, met here Friday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah. During the meeting, HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Afghan people. For his part, the Afghan President entrusted HE Al Attiyah with his greetings to HH the Emir, wishing him the best of health and happiness and further progress and prosperity to the State of Qatar. Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them in addition to a number of issues of mutual concern. (QNA)
