AGRICULTURAL SPHERE IN STATISTICS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Last year, Mongolia harvested 446.1 thousand tons cereals, 201.6 thousand tons potatoes and 99.0 thousand tons vegetables. Apart of it, 1,195.2 thousand tons gross hay harvest and 46.7 thousand tons handmade fodder were produced. Cereals harvest increased by 91.0 thousand tons or 25.6 per cent, while potatoes--by 33.7 thousand tons or 20.1 per cent, vegs--by 16.7 thousand tons or 20.3 per cent, gross hay harvest--by 58.0 thousand tons or 5.1 per cent, and handmade fodder--by 14.0 thousand tons or 42.8 per cent against the previous year.
