AIPU grants Parliamentary Excellence Award 2021 to Dr. Jihad Al Fadhel

Cairo, Feb. 18 (BNA): The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) granted Chairperson of the Shura Council Services Committee, Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al Fadhel, the Chairperson of the Foreign Relations Committee at the Arab Parliament’s Arab Observatory for Human Rights, the Parliamentary Excellence Award-Second Category (Member of Parliament), which is organised by AIPU for the year 2021. The honour is a tribute for the outstanding parliamentary activities of Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al Fadhel and her investment of the parliamentary diplomacy to promote the national stances in international events. Dr. Al Fadhel received the award today on the sidelines of the Bahraini parliamentary delegation’s participation in the 32nd conference of AIPU being held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, under the theme “Arab Solidarity”. The delegation is headed by Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia Abdullah Zainal. During the conference, presidency of AIPU was transferred from the UAE to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
