AirAsia Offers Relief Support To Help Lombok Quake Victims

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 (Bernama) -- Low-cost carrier AirAsia has announced it will provide assistance to non-profit organisations which require air transport to help earthquake victims in Lombok, Indonesia. In a statement Wednesday, the airline said the aid included air travel for relief aid workers and medical staff, as well as the transportation of relief items such as dried food and blankets. Relief aid agencies requiring air transport support are welcomed to submit their requests to foundation@airasia.com where instructions on cargo delivery and requirements will be provided after evaluation.
