Al Aqsa preacher lauds U.A.E.'s assistance for Gazans

Gaza: Dr Yousuf Salama, the preacher of Al Aqsa Mosque, has praised the honourable, supportive stances adopted by the U.A.E. leadership towards the Palestinian people and their just cause. ''The noble stances of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan bear testimony of the leading role the leadership, government and people of the U.A.E. play in supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause,'' Sheikh Salama said in a statement to Emirates News Agency (WAM). He noted that the Palestinian people had received with extreme delight the news of Sheikh Khalifa's instructions for sending urgent humanitarian assistance worth DH 192 million to enhance resistance of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip in these critical circumstances imposed on them by the Israeli occupation. The Emirates Red Crescent will supervise the distribution of aid. It will also establish an integrated field hospital in the Gaza Strip to provide medical aid to the injured.
