Al Noor association members visit Riyadat

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): Al Noor Charity Welfare Association was given insights into Riyadat, a centre to empower Bahraini women considered the first incubator of its kind in the Middle East to focus on investing in women entrepreneurs, giving them space and resources to promote their business and sell their wares. The visit included details about the services provided by the centre like sponsorship, training and consulting for those who wish to become entrepreneurs. Al Noor members lauded Riyadat’s unique experience in supporting women, especially entrepreneurs and providing 50 economic incubators and other services to support women’s projects and promote their skills. They expressed appreciation of the efforts by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) in supporting and empowering women on all levels. The Women Incubator Centre nourished from collaboration between Bahrain Development Bank, SCW and Bahrain Business Incubator Centre as a pedestal for building independent Women Entrepreneurs. The idea began in 2010 when HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ebrahim Al-Khalifa who is always set to empower Bahraini women perceived the need to invest in showcasing products and services led by Bahraini women.
