Ambassador Fauzi Bowo Presents Credentials To German President

London, 21 (Antara) - Indonesian Ambassador to Germany Fauzi Bowo handed over credentials to Federal Republic of Germany`s President Joachim Guack at the Bellevue Palace, Berlin, on Wednesday, an Indonesia diplomat said here on Thursday. Spokesman of the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin Juviano Ribeiro told Antara here on Thursday that during the credential presentation ceremony, Ambassador Fauzi Bowo was accompanied by Siswo Pramono, chief representative of the Indonesian embassy in Berlin and a number of other Indonesian diplomats. After the credential presentation, Ambassador Fauzi Bowo and German President Joachim Guack agreed to continue and reinforce existing cooperation that had been established and running well, including the interfaith dialogues. Both sides also agreed to implement the Jakarta Declaration (Indonesia-Germany Joint Declaration for a Comprehensive Partnership: Shaping Globalization an Sharing Responsibility). The comprehensive partnership cooperation was jointly declared by Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Jakarta in 2012.
