Ambassadors of Bulgaria and Algeria Visit Katara

Doha, April 26 (QNA) - HE Bulgaria's Ambassador to Qatar Metin Kazak paid a visit to the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) during which he met with Katara Director General Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti. During the meeting, which discussed joint cultural cooperation, the Ambassador of Bulgaria presented a proposal to organize an art exhibition to highlight different aspects of Bulgarian culture. Dr Al Sulaiti welcomed the proposal, saying that Katara seeks to feature different cultures of various countries in order to diversify the activities offered to the public. He highlighted Katara's endeavors to activate and support the cultural activities and host talents in various fields of art, creativity and thought. HE Algeria's Ambassador to Qatar Abdulaziz Saba also visited Katara and met with the Katara Director General, who briefed him on Katara's objectives and roles in activating and supporting cultural work, as well as on events and activities and various exhibitions and festivals hosted by Katara such as the African Festival, which most North African countries took part in it, including Algeria and other African states.
