Amir Abdollahian: Iran pursuing expansion of ties with world

Tehran, June 2, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran pursues the policy of expansion of ties with the Muslim states. 'Islamic Republic of Iran's fixed policy is expansion of relations with all countries, specially Muslim and regional states,' Amir Abdollahian said. Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with a group of political and media personalities visiting Iran in Tehran on Tuesday. The senior diplomat, meantime, expressed the hope that the relations between Iran and Jordan will be enhanced in all areas. Amir Abdollahian also criticized certain countries for bringing violence and insecurity to the region through their interferences and militarization policies. He also condemned the military attack against the oppressed people of Yemen and destroying the country's economic infrastructures and killing of thousands of innocent people of the Arab country. 'Military attack on Yemen was not within the capacity of a Muslim country,' Amir Abdollahian added. The senior diplomat, meantime, expressed the hope that Saudi Arabia will bring to a halt its military attacks against the people of Yemen and the Arab country's economic infrastructures. Amir Abdollahian pointed to the common concern of the regional nations which supporting the Palestinian cause, and underlined that Iran will continue its supports for the Palestine and the axis of resistance.
