Amiri Naval Forces Celebrates Graduation of Officers' Candidates Enrolled in Sudan College of Marine Studies

Doha, October 01 (QNA) - The Qatari Amiri Naval Forces celebrated on Thursday, the graduation of officer candidates who completed their qualification period at the College of Marine Studies, in the Republic of Sudan. The ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training Staff Major General Hamad Ahmed Al Nuaimi, HE Commander of Sudan Naval Forces Major General Mahjoub Bushra Ahmed Rahma, and a number of senior officers from both sides. During the ceremony, HE Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training Staff Major General Hamad Ahmed Al Nuaimi extended thanks and appreciation to the Republic of Sudan, and the Sudanese Armed Forces in particular, for the good treatment of students, in addition to providing them with continuous support. His Excellency also addressed a speech to the graduates urging them to make more effort and work in order to serve the nation. The course, which officers' candidates enrolled in, lasted for three years and included field training and the acquisition of applied sciences, which qualified the participants to obtain a bachelor's degree in marine studies. The course included academic subjects, various military sciences, practical sessions, field and sports training, in addition to long march, cross country training, and marathon. (QNA)
