Amka and the Three Golden Rules

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian film "Amka and the Three Golden Rules" by Babar Ahmed has been included in program of the 38th Cleveland International Film Festival running through March 30 in Downtown Cleveland, the US Ohio. The 86-min film was screened in Mongolian with English subtitles three times on March 22, 24 and 27, during the largest film festival in Ohio that consists of more than 170 feature films and 160 short films from 60 countries. The film also will be screened November 7-9 at Boston International Kids Film Festival that features nearly 50 films that are by, for and about children, including features, documentaries, shorts and international films. "Amka and the Three Golden Rules" is about a 10-year old orphaned boy (stunningly embodied by the young T.Ganzorig) who collects cans to make money to feed his sister and keep his family clothed and fed in their yurt in rural Mongolia.
