Animated movie celebrating King’s birthday draws large crowd

BANGKOK, Nov 30 (TNA) - People on Saturday packed some 12 Bangkok theatres during the screening of ‘Phra Maha Chanok’ animated movie to celebrate His Majesty the King’s birthday on December 5. Penned by His Majesty the King, the ‘Phra Maha Chanok’ movie animation has earlier been drawn into a cartoon version under the King’s permission by well-known cartoonist Chai Rachawat. The animated movie took four years to be complete with the production crew of over 250 persons including artists, illustrators and animators. The content of the 112-minute-long animated movie teaches people on patience and perseverance. The public can watch the movie again in 12 theatres free of charge on December 6 and on all television channels in Thailand during December 6 – 8. (TNA)
