Anti-Bomb Squad Discovers Home Made Bombs In Ambon

Ambon, Maluku, Nov 23 (Antara) - The anti-bomb squad of the Maluku provincial police discovered home-made bombs kept in four boxes here on Sunday. Chief of the Ambon and Lease Islands district police Adj. Snr. Comr. Komarus Zaman confirmed that the squad discovered the bombs in Kampung Tenggara area, Sirimau sub-district, Ambon city, after receiving information from local residents. He said a local resident found the boxes containing home-made bombs while digging a house foundation. The squad had identified the finds as pipe-shaped bombs, he said. "The bombs have been taken to the anti-bomb squad station of the Maluku provincial police to ensure that they are home-made bombs," he said.
