Apartment Fire Kills 13 In Central China

BEIJING, June 25 (Bernama) -- A fire at a seven-storey apartment in Zhengzhou, capital city of east central China's Henan province, on Thursday killed 13 people and left four others injured, Xinhua news agency reported. The fire started in an electricity meter box on the ground floor of the apartment building, it said. It said the wounded had been sent to a local hospital and an investigation was underway. Some 30 to 40 households lived in the building, Xinhua quoted witnesses as saying. -- BERNAMA
