Arab Hip Hop Festival Opens Thursday in Doha

Doha, April 01 (QNA) - Arab Hip Hop Festival opening here on Thursday ,April 3, is showcasing top rappers, break-dancers, beatboxers, graffiti artists and DJs, organisers said. The festival for young people is being organised Qatar-based Youth Enterprise at the Hilton Hotel Doha. Arab Hip Hop Festival will officially open on Thursday at 10:30 am with a press conference, followed by the official opening ceremony. The first day features the first annual Hip Hop Conference in Doha which includes a movie screening, and panel discussion with experts and artists from the Hip Hop industry. The outdoor section of the festival will be held on April 4 and 5 at the Hilton Beach. Arab rappers, break-dancers, beatboxers, graffiti artists and DJs will perform. The festival will welcome over a dozen established hip-hop artists from around the Arab world and is expecting more than 1200 visitors to come together to witness and interact with the stars. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet key hip-hop celebrities, learn new skills through workshops, and enjoy a range of live performances and competitions in diverse zones around the area, organisers said.
