Arab inter-parliamentary cooperation praised

Manama, June 20 (BNA): The Shura Council's Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh sent a cable of congratulations to Chairman of the Arab Parliamentary Union, Dr. Ali Abdelaal, on the APU’s establishment anniversary, wishing him success in his duties in the interest of the Arab nation. Al Saleh praised the efforts of Dr. Abdelaal in boosting the cooperation between Arab parliamentary councils and parliamentarians in various fields. He affirmed the Shura Council’s endeavor to consolidate this cooperation and to convey the fair Arab causes at international functions and to gain global support for Arab causes. Al Saleh also sent a similar congratulatory cable to Faiz Al Shawabkeh, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliamentary Union.
