Arab Parliament praises Bahrain's efforts to maintain security

Manama, June 30 (BNA): Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan stressed support to Bahrain in its efforts to maintain security and stability and confront foreign interference seeking to disunite the Bahraini community which has always been known for its cohesion. Speaking at a press conference, the Arab Parliament delegation, led by Al Jarwan, praised Bahrain’s distinguished efforts in facing the blatant Iranian interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain and the Arab world, in general, and the desperate attempts of terrorism to shake up security in Bahrain and the Arab world. The Arab Parliament Speaker said the delegation’s visit to Bahrain aims to convey respect of the Arab people for the kingdom’s honourable role in defending the Arab nation from the eastern gate and extend support to Bahrain in its efforts to protect itself and the Arab world from foreign interference tampering with the Arab national security by funding terrorist groups. The Arab Parliament delegation condemned all forms of foreign interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain and the Arab countries, calling on the international community to take action against such blatant interference in countries’ affairs. Al Jarwan highly commended Bahrain’s efforts to maintain security and peace, reiterating support of all the Arab people to the kingdom’s steps in this regard as well as its development policies under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
