Arab Parliament Speaker praises Bahraini diplomacy's achievements

Manama, Jan. 14 (BNA): Arab Parliament Speaker, Adel Abdulrahman Al-Asoomi, has praised the remarkable achievements attained by Bahraini diplomacy at the Arab, regional and global levels over the past five decades. In a statement marking Bahrain’s Diplomatic Day, celebrated every January 14, Al-Asoomi affirmed that the Bahraini diplomacy has enhanced the kingdom’s status at all levels, based on the far-sighted vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, adding that it embodies the principles and noble humanitarian values in which the kingdom believes, particularly the respect for countries’ sovereignty and the good neighbourliness principles. He stressed that the kingdom’s diplomacy reflects Bahrain’s belief in the values of solidarity, tolerance and coexistence, adding that it has contributed effectively to safeguarding regional and global security and peace. The Arab Parliament Speaker lauded HM the King’s unlimited support for the Bahraini diplomacy and all its affiliates, praising the royal keynote speech marking the occasion. In this regard, he hailed HM the King’s statement that “Bahrain has been able to assume a high international standing in the international community thanks to its balanced and flexible foreign policy, active and effective diplomacy, and its influential international presence.” He also praised HM the King’s assertion that Bahrain, with its rich history and civilisation, authentic values and the dedication of its citizens, is capable of strengthening its standing among civilised nations. Al-Asoomi also praised the tangible efforts exerted by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to highlight the kingdom’s achievements, strengthen its presence, consolidate its effective role in the international community and extend bridges of cooperation with all countries. He also paid tribute to all Bahrainis working in the diplomatic field, praising their dedication in serving the kingdom.
